The temperature here in Minnesota hit the upper 70's this weekend, which is astonishing for the end of October!
So it was time for one more desktop "Roll for it" competition, to celebrate our first round of picking up the millions of leaves that fall into our yard each fall.
This year, we decided to use your electric Toro mower and it's collection bag, and it filled up the garden waste bin completely, but we didn't need any bags (which is amazing as last year required about 25 yard waste bags. We know we're not done for the season, but it was such an easy way to collect the leaves, we'll definitely do that again!
Also today, we took our pup on a long walk in a new part of the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge, and it was amazing to see how many birds are starting to gather as they begin their migrations to southern/open water locations.
In all, it was a lovely way to spend a beautiful (late) fall day, and to fill up our cups with these last bits of warmer weather.
