Introducing Queenie

On the last day of 2022, my new longarm machine arrived, with little fanfare, on the front porch! My husband was backing out of the driveway and saw it and came inside to let me know. Excitedly, we brought it into the foyer, and he continued on with his errands.

Might not show up in this photo as big as this box actually is, but it definitely took two of us to get it in the house! Because of it's size (and admittedly, my excitement), I decided to open it in the front hall.

This company does an amazing packaging job. Their out of box experience is par-none. Look at how everything is individually boxed and labeled!

The box was labelled several places with large writing to save the box and inserts, as they are needed if you want to ship the machine in for repairs or returns. But nowhere did it clearly state to watch the unpacking videos (QE in a folder there) before unpacking... and there was, of course, an entire staging to the unpacking.

The cutouts seen above in the foam (the front edge) are part of preparing the machine by putting the feet on, while the machine itself is still in the foam. I had to put the machine back in the box to get it in the right place, but it was super smooth once I started listening to instructions!

As I've been sick over the holiday weekend, getting this set u will take a little time, but I'm working on it as I feel up to it (and to be honest, I'm also a bit overwhelmed at the set up so am taking that slowly, on purpose).

To attach the feet (step 2 after adding the lower encoder down on the frame), you stack the machine, in her foam cushion, on top of the other piece of foam, using these two foam and webbing handles under this part of the box. This is what it looks like when stacked correctly (with the feet attached). See how the cutouts provided the perfect amount of room for the wide feet? pretty clever!

And here is one more angle of the feet attached with the cutouts in the foam.

That's as far as I got this weekend, but looking forward to moving her downstairs (with help, she ways over 40 pounds!).

Thanks for stopping by!
