Progress is continuing on the Bossa Nova pineapple quilt! Here is block 3:

Using the ruler has made this a lot easier, but is not error proof, in itself. The lines are wider on the ruler, so you need to be sure you're always cutting in the same place, and make sure to line everything up, so that things aren't getting wonky if one of your seams is a little off.
The fabric has a lot of color ways that include rough stripes of gradient colors.... and I wasn't sure whether I should cut them so the lines are the horizontal (like in the 6th row with the different stripes greens) or vertical, like in the four corners. I'm still undecided, but I think I like the horizontal option, better, even if it does provide a lot more color difference from piece to piece.
