In this technique, you start with a 2.5" center square, and do 8 rounds of adding 1 3/4" strips of fabric in varying lengths to the four sides, and then finish it off with 2.5"x4" squares of the four corners. Along the way, you iron each row outward, and use the ruler to trim it to each proportions.
