This weekend, we finally got the remaining pavers removed from the front "patio" that we want to convert to a garden over the next few years. We won't get the conversion done this year, and instead moved all my planters onto the gravel/sand remaining in the space, so that my garden isn't on the driveway, and is in full sun and closer to the hoses!
I've been harvesting tones of lettuce and spinach (though with the heat that has started to bolt), and plenty of basil. I have some peppers that have started to form, and some tomato blooms have made way for cherry tomatoes. Summer is definitely underway!
In the days ahead, we will be disassembling and moving the twin green stalks, and then I look forward to sharing the photos of my makeshift container garden for 2022!
Here are my green stalks, pre-move. The bottom row of the one on the right is all celery!
Thanks for stopping by!
